Out with Harvey and Steve today. First stop was Penygist mines above Ysbyty Ystwyth, this was Harvey's first ever caching experience and he wasn't too enthusiastic to start with. This was just a quick warm up and we headed across country simply following the GPSr, we found the cache without too many problems and then followed the path back to the road.

We then drove off to the Teifi Pools and cache 2 of the day which involved a bit more of a walk past the reservoir and up onto a hill. Harvey was getting into it by now and once again we found the cache easily, although I think Steve was disappointed that I found it before he did!

The views from here were really good and we got caught in a shower but sat it out and watched the world go by. We then headed off across country (some of it pretty boggy) to the Monks Trod (an ancient pathway across the hills) and then off towards the Clarwen Reservoir. From here we doubled back on ourselves and headed off up hill to finsd the goeographic centre of Wales and a third geocache.

This time Steve had the GPSr and went stomping off to find the box before we did... Once again though I beat him to it, although really it was a joint effort. Harvey was getting into it by now and wants to do more.

From here it was an easy walk along the track and back to the car, but we got caught in a torrential downpour and got drenched. All good fun though.
